Our company is busy year round.  Our Live Division activities are lobster grading, long term storage and selling to local markets, while our Processing Division produces frozen raw and frozen cooked lobster.

Job Posting: Supervisor – Team of 100+

 

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to lead and manage a dynamic team of over 100 individuals. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally committed to quality, productivity, and strong interpersonal leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise, motivate, and coordinate a large team to meet daily production and quality goals
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive work environment across a diverse workforce
  • Address and resolve personnel issues and conflicts professionally
  • Communicate clearly across language and cultural differences
  • Monitor team performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience supervising large teams (50+ people preferred)
  • Strong focus on both quality and quantity of work
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse personalities
  • Culturally sensitive, with experience working in multicultural environments
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure

 

 

Additional Considerations:

 

  • Candidates must be prepared to work with individuals from various backgrounds, some of whom may be from out of town or speak different languages.
  • Leadership, patience, and clear communication are essential to success in this role.
